The online food retailer Ocado has already opened up its Christmas delivery slots, and shoppers have complained on social media that many are already sold out.

Ocado sent me - and thousands of others - a message last week to tell us that on 15 October we'd be able to arrange our Christmas delivery slots. Great idea I thought especially if you look back to November last year when all slots for Christmas had been taken.
